“100% cashmere” tells you almost nothing. Fibre length, ply and gauge tell you everything, and none of them are on the label.

Short fibres work their way out of the yarn and ball up within weeks. Long fibres stay put for years. Two jumpers both labelled 100% cashmere can be a decade apart in useful life, and the label will never say so.
A well-spun two-ply holds its shape better than a heavier single. We print ply and gauge on every product page, because those are the numbers that actually predict how the piece ages.
Every knit in the house is long-staple and two-ply at minimum. If a piece pills abnormally in its first season, send it back — that is a fault, not wear.
